coyote hunting
A hunting friend from N.Central Ks called, and said they finally got a good snow cover, 9". They hunt coyotes up there in groups, with several trucks and four wheelers. Two differant groups hunted Sat. and Sun. One bunch killed 40 and the other group got 26. Pretty good for two days, Huh...- KW

lion at Trinidad Colo
I would like to get hooked up with someone that knows the area around Trinidad, colo. From my maps it looks to be mostly private land, but it looks like real lion country to me. Anyone now how to access it that wants to go lion hunting? Maybe Ted Turner will let me catch a few of his there on...- KW

Lion and porcupine
Just wondered if anyone else ever has seen this. I have never caught a lion that didnt have a least a couple porky quills in it somewhere. usualy in the forearm or neck and dont seem to be all that festered up. I have seen where a porky was caught and eatten right out of its skin a couple...- KW

Three cat day!
We had about a 1 inch snow last night, and I got out early to take advantage of it. I looked at 12 tracks, turned out on 5 and caught 3 The BIG one was 38lb! That is a real good cat here and a little hard on dogs when caught. I run Trigg-Walker cross dogs and have pretty good luck with them...- KW
