I'm going to Wyoming for deer and antelope in October. I'm taking my 25-06 and thought I would take my 300 win mag as a backup. This rifle shoots well with 180 grain factory loads. I have only shot them. I was wondering if anyone had advice on what other size bullets to try before I go that...
I've been a part of hunttalk since the early days when Moosie founded it. My wife Tonya who loved hunting as much as i do, passed away on June 15th at the age of 41 following a battle with colon and liver disease. For 18 years she hardly missed a day in the field, hunting while pregnant and...

I am going to purchase a new rifle for my wife for our trip to wy next year for deer/antelope. She likes the 25-06, we used to own a ruger 77 in same caliber. Has anyone had experience with Tikka rifles? The price at our local gun shop is affordable, only about $100 more than savage. With gun...

I really enjoy seeing the cat pics and stories. My wife says after this years hunt maybe I should start saving for a cat hunt. I sure get a charge reading about it and looking at the pictures.

I was wondering those who are hunting WY during the gathering or with Bcat, how many are applying for deer and antelope and did you apply Special or regular draw? Thought it would be interesting to see how many of us are paying the extra $100.
