Unit 53 New Mexico solo. Bad idea?
I made the post last week about other units. I think I’ve found a landowner tag in 53 for rifle that I want to buy. Everything I read says that place will kill a man if you truly want to find elk. I need some input. I have a unit wide landowner tag for New Mexico. My hunt options are muzzy October 5-9. Rifle oct 12-16. My first elk hunt.
