West Virginia panhandle whitetail partner
Looking for a hunting buddy in the WV panhandle, specifically Marshall County. I have always hunted whitetail, but if you hunt something else I'm totally interested! I do all the seasons, but specifically archery just based on the few public spots I have to hunt right now. I'm in my mid 20's...- DanW

Historical Type Rifle for Elk?
My buddy is looking to get a historical type (maybe military sniper) rifle for elk. He was thinking Mosin or something similar. What would be a very accurate hard-hitting rifle that will take an elk at 450 yds or below AND has historical value? I was thinking maybe Winchester M70? -

New from VA/WV
Trying to learn as much as I can on here before my first hunt out west. Been hunting since I was a kid but never been further than WV. I'm thinking mule deer first. Any tips?
