Rebarrel a rifle. 6.5rem mag to?????
I’m purchasing an older Remington 700 in 6.5 rem mag. I can’t find brass or loaded ammo for this rifle…so I am going to rebarrel it to another caliber. Probably 300wsm. Any gunsmiths have any thoughts on this? Where should I buy a sporter barrel that will be blued and fit in this nice classic... -
Idaho spring bear (youth opportunity)
Any advice on a unit in Idaho with a lot of clear cuts and logging roads. Looking to take my 10 year old son on his first bear hunt. Trophy size not important. I’m looking for an area that we can walk logging roads and glass for bears. Preferably not in grizzly country. Would appreciate any tips.- Harold

First time elk hunting
I drew an elk tag in Arizona. I’ve never hunted elk and I’m finding it hard to get any hunting partners to join me. I’m having trouble mastering E scouting online and I cannot afford an outfitter. Any advice is appreciated. Unit 8 late archery. -
Arizona late archery
I drew a late season Arizona elk tag for November 2019. (Archery unit 8). I’ve never hunted elk and this was my first time applying. Could use any advice y’all are willing to give. My experience has been limited to Texas whitetail, mule deer and hogs. Never hunted in the mountains either.
