Model 7 Feeding Issue
Have an M7 in 7-08 that's a great little rifle with one exception- rounds hang up as pictured when feeding, evidently catching somewhere on the meplat. Anyone have experience with this and/or a fix? Thanks in advance. -

A lot of bucks will still have velvet into late August, so right about now would be the if you're looking to hunt the alpine for hard horned bucks. You'll see lots of opinions about the weather in September, but realistically there isn't much of a difference between now and mid August. -

Great to see states catching on to this. AK has something similar now, referred to as the Alaska Copper Ammo challenge, as does AZ. All reimburse hunters for shooting lead free. $350 Scope Recommendations
I can tell absolutely no difference between the eye relief on my Hurons and that of VX-3s, Nightforces, Swarovskis etc. Supposedly Trijicon uses a different procedure to measure eye relief than those brands do -

Good to hear a dealer's perspective- really just corroborates what we already knew. Vortex binos and spotters do the trick fine, but I'd NEVER trust their scopes to direct the path of a bullet towards a live animal. If anyone reads this and is considering a Vortex riflescope, do your own... -

7mm-08 load for Weatherby
Copper 120s and 7/08 go together like peas and carrots. If for whatever reason you're not getting the precision you want out of the E tips, try the 120 hammer hunters over Varget. I have one load with those that groups just under MOA in three different factory rifles. Really couldn't go wrong...- oxn939
