Elections are over, but before we get to Mariah.....

My relatives on my mom's side of the family were heavily involved in the MN iron range mining. I have always felt a connection to the song even though I was born in 1988. WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04

Wait a minute, @brymoore beat me to pointing out the fake news on the 30-30 winning! Agree on not expecting changes, the only voting result I was surprised on was HJR4 and being overwhelmingly No.

    Rangefinders that don’t suck

I need to organize some gear this winter and sell a few things. Not sure if the Maven will make the cut. I'll let you know but we should drink a beer either way. I currently have at least 3 scopes in unopened packages. We'll see if I get around to posting my draft post about it in the ADHD thread.

    Rangefinders that don’t suck

I have a Maven RF1 and the only complaint is the knob on the side feels bulky. But after buying some Lecia Geovid HDBs used a couple years ago I haven't used the Maven much. But also haven't been archery hunting as much.

    Trail building and rock breaking.

I don't know anything about rock breaking, but that looks like fun. I always enjoy when I run equipment a couple times a year.

You could use a little manscaping.

    More opinions

I agree that there are crimes where a death sentence is the "best" punishment. But the court systems and juries are fallible and innocent people have been found guilty and executed in the past. IMO that is enough for me not to support the death penalty.

    Great Social Media posts?

Looking at the monthly budget thread - when your repairs are costing you that much and you're a billionaire its time to swap out for a new model.

    DEI for billionaires

Doom scrolling X and tweeting 40 to 100 times a day? I don't think I could do it.

    DEI for billionaires

A friend of mine here in Idaho drew the silver state elk tag this year. Shot an awesome bull two weeks ago!

Apparently I spend much more of my net worth on raffles than this guy. You would think I would win one 😢

    Corn fed bear

My brother sent me a video of a NW MN bear chased out of some corn they are harvesting. Converted video to GIF:

Yeah, when I saw the articles about that record moose a month ago the last name was very familiar.
