October elk in MT
So, my September is completely shot and I'm debating whether to go the first week of October with a bow or wait till rifle opener. The area I typically bowhunt is very thick and success is dependent on hearing elk. I've never been there in October, so I'm wondering how vocal the elk are... -

After reading the thread on the possible reintroduction of g bears into the Selway-Bitterroots and seeing how healthy the Yellowstone and Glacier populations are, I'd be curious to hear opinions on what the grizzly range will look like 5-10-15 years down the road.
