I love hunting mule deer too. They don't seem to be the smartest critters though, at least compared to whitetails. -

They will eat anything! A Cajun guy I go duck hunting with will shoot any coot he sees. Says they go good in gumbo. I'm not picky at all, but those coots are close to inedible.- Greybeard

Are tungsten turkey loads worth the money?
I appreciate very much everyone's input on something I have no real experience with. I was always chasing fish in the spring instead of chasing turkeys. Are tungsten turkey loads worth the money?
First off, I'm not an experienced turkey hunter. I've been pricing some turkey loads for a hunt this spring, and holey moley, they are higher than Snoop Dog. For you folks that have experience, are the tungsten loads really worth it? Also, do I really need a turkey choke instead of my regular...- Greybeard

What 100 year old cartridges do you use
I use my .54 Hawken with a patched round ball. I need to dust off my old .303 British Enfield again.
