I see your point. I certainly don't buy $20 socks. But can you see mine. The stagnation or more likely a decline in the American middle class. Like the Roman empire, we resort to extraction. Or, in our case, "buying cheap shit." It helps balance the books and keeps the population happy. Citizens are quite happy with affordable Walmart goods... that we outsourced making abroad. But is has been a two-edged sword- Handlebar
