Yea I bought A LOT of First Light ASAT when they did their 40% discontinuation sale. ASAT themselves make their own but haven’t tried any of the newer merino stuff since I have enough.
Interesting thread.
My takeaway after years of reading on here is the HT forum (myself included 🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️) wants more mature (bigger) antlered mule deer but we are just a subset of hunters and pretty certain in the minority. While I would be more than willing to try and accept any changes...
Glassed up 8 bulls feeding from private and they moved onto USFS thick timber. One “big” one to me that I went after and entered timber several hundred yards above the others. Never was able to see where they bedded before I lost them. Did my best to hike up and around and drop down where I...
50% decrease in sales YOY is concerning and almost unbelievable. Hard to believe they can be the only ones, wonder if more companies are in similar situation?
I had a pair for about a decade or so. They were no longer waterproof and my pants were getting wet. IIRC I didn't have the original receipt and they were debating honoring the warranty. I stated I was just going to purchase a new pair from Kuiu and just like that the had a new pair in the...
The majority of hunting regs are self/community enforced/reported at the end of the day, so same way those are enforced. When someone abuses it they may or may not get caught. No different than any other reg IMO?
Here is the snip from current Ohio regs. Looks like mostly the same but some changes in regards to LLC/Trusts which I don't recall but all still makes sense to me.
Hard pass. In Ohio it extended to immediate family, again, which makes sense to me, but those were in addition to, not transferred to the landowner(s) on the deed. Transferable = for sale.
Exactly.
I don't recall if there was a minimum acreage in Ohio, to me as long as you are following applicable hunting laws minimum acreage is sorta mute point. It's up to landowners to understand you may or may not be able to shoot on your 1, 5 or 10 acre property depending on how it was laid...
