    Above timberline lopes

Had a WY bighorn ewe tag awhile back. Thought I spotted a band of sheep first thing in the morning crawling out of the tent at 10k feet. Ended up being antelope but I couldn't stop questioning what I saw.

    North Dakota Whitetail hunt

I believe the exception would be whitetail tags if you have an outfitter. Otherwise as stated above nonresident rifle deer tags are extremely limited. There may also be an option to pickup a nonresident rifle license with the leftover tags when they become first come-first served. Typically only...

    Ditching GoHunt

This was my first year using GoHunt maps and had similar issues with bot public land boundaries being incorrect as well as private land with public access being out of date. They have a few nice features but overall they are well short of OnX.

    24 controlled hunts

Looks like my wife and I will be going to Texas in December. Excited to look for aoudad in Palo Duro Canyon. One of those hunts where you never plan to draw. Now trying to learn as much about the hunt and area.

South Dakota 100/0 on NR Rocky BHS tags? Why not 1 NR?

Nonresidents are eligible for the Bighorn tags in ND, just a high application cost versus odds. Though it is probably not to bad of a cost/odds compared to WY now.

    Worst online application system

My first time applying in AZ, I thought this can't be right to start from the beginning for another species. Still annoys me.

    Colo sheep/goat this week

No tags for the wife and I. Definitely looking forward to how the 3+0 group applied for tags. It will be interesting to see how few of the new applicants will pay the $100 for a weighted point vs choosing to sit at 3+0.

    Colo sheep/goat this week

Got excited when I saw a single charge from CO Parks and Wildlife. Then saw the $100 amount and realized it was a point. Still waiting for the other.

    WY Windmills

Many negatives have been stated, but the one that really surprised me when some were installed in an area I hunt was the noise. When you are near them on a windy day it sounds like plane after plane is flying over you. Also the the blade tips on the skyline constantly are catching your eye as...

Great story and moose. Brings back so many memories from my 2010 hunt. Can't wait for the opportunity to tag along on another ND moose hunt.

What states offer the best NR tag values

That is like saying some CO residents wait 20+ years to draw an elk tag. Why should they give NR elk tags? There were whitetail buck tags that were not taken in the first four choices and went to the second draw this year.

What states offer the best NR tag values

I propose we take a look at slight increase in NR fees and setting a limit on NR whitetail archery tags in return for giving an equitable percentage of other big game tags to NRs.

    Chest or Stand Up Freezer

I grew up with a large chest freezer. Later in had two small chest freezers of my own. Currently I have one small chest and one standup. Definitely prefer the standup for the organization it offers. Having the other small chest freezer gives me the added volume for items I dont access often...
