All I do anymore. Load to mag length unless it hits the lands then I seat just off lands. I don’t dick with seating depths anymore. Work up to max powder. If it doesn’t shoot I try a different powder. Simple
I’d probably bed it and try your loads again. If it doesn’t improve I would clean the hell out of the barrel then I’d grab some 125 grain hammer hht. If it doesn’t shoot that with a couple different powder combos id scrap it
Have worked the bolt a few hundred times now and it’s getting noticeably smoother. Sighted it in and then shot steel out to 500 with it pretty easily. Fun little gun. Probably will end up being my thermal rifle. Shoots factory 62grain eldvt at 3160fps
The little I messed with it last night it felt alright. It’s not tikka smooth but it’s functional and I bet smooths out with use. Will know more by the weekend
