OK, but why increase the doe permits by 75% when the population growth in the region is flat? I just don't understand the logic. Would it really be that bad to have one region in the state see the population increase a bit? It's not like it's currently anywhere close to record highs. I... -

Your mindset is the problem with the current state of our mule deer populations in the state. These are three small units in Region 3, I can only guess what they are recommending in the other units. -

My wife drew a West Yellowstone bison permit. She's wanted to hunt buffalo more than anything else. I understand there are many challenges with this hunt, especially for state hunters - but at least she will have a permit in hand and a chance at success.
