Out of curiosity and hope, do you see any progress on corner crossing being fully legal in MT any time soon? I hope so. Lots of great ground would be accessible.
I haven’t had bad experiences hunting here, in fact I never have any issues finding new places to explore, but what I do hear in conversation and online are instances and conversations like the one this thread covers.

Interestingly I heard of a rancher up by Lost River WMA holding two hunters hostage in their basement for encroaching mistakenly on a corner of the property.
Usually in some form I try to be at or in the immediate vicinity of where I’m hunting deer year round. Shed hunting, early upland hunting, just driving around. Some spots are reliant on a “migration” so I’ll take that into account and act accordingly.
