How close is the farmers field to the 5 acres? If the deer are not feeding or or bedding on the 5 acres, and they’re not crossing through it to get from their bedding area to a feeding area, you’re going to have a lot of skunked hunts. The rut could be your best opportunity when the bucks... -

Suppressor Accuracy on a Previously Unthreaded Barrel
I have a few that I had chopped and threaded and the accuracy with the can was even better. Have two more that are not threaded and they shoot great. Both will be getting threaded shortly, because my wife and kids will be shooting them suppressed. -
Which caliber?
If you don’t reload, Whichever one will be the easiest to get ammo for. It’s an election year and there will probably be a shortage if a certain candidate gets elected. I remember what Ammo was on the shelf and which ammo wasn’t a few years ago. -

Colorado Secondary Draw Results?
I don’t apply as I know I have 0% chance of drawing the tags I want. But we make sure the three youth in the family that are old enough to apply, get in. They went 2 for 3 on 1st choice deer tags in a decent unit we know and like. November needs to hurry up- ridn9high

Nice looking setup. Did you go with 1/2” or 5/8” threads? Do you have a pic of the threaded area? I have a new Roughtech I picked up in December and am wanting to chop the barrel because it feels super long with a can right now -
