    Trying new rifles this season

Does this mean we can anticipate a bunch of mint howa's in .308/7mm-08's hitting the classifieds? Just a lowly old browning owner trying to plan for Christmas lol.

Yep, sucks throwing a bunch of blood shot meat away IMO. Never seen anything like it....always used cup/core bullets...powershocks, corelocks, or terminal ascents. I don't like over complicating things...My next rifle, I'll buy 200-300 rounds of the cheapest of those three options in 7 rem mag...

My buddy sent me this from the next morning. That’s what you should look like after a goat hunt. I look like I was ridden hard and put away wet. I’d Give Mrs. Dell a run for her money.

I’ve never shot bergers on a big game animal. It was great for the hide, pretty rough on the meat. Pin hole on the entry side, explosion inside the cavity. No blood but he basically barrel rolled on impact feet over back.

Yeah my buddy shot a nanny last year. It was pretty small even though she was older. I’d say these quarters remind me of a mule deer but the weight is more evenly distributed across the front and rear quarters. It was 64 lbs of quarters cut off at the knee with a lot of blood shot cut out of...

Thank you, I think he’s a good goat for this unit and I’m super happy with him. His face, body size, and hair conditions checked all the boxes for me. His body size reminded me of a nice montana blackbear. Took the two of us to safely maneuver him to a tree so we could start to clean him...
