A few good men is great movie! - back before Tom got weird. Days of Thunder was same story line of top gun just in cars instead of jets but I still enjoyed the movie. He is one of those actors where I can enjoy the movie but if someone said “ hey Tom C is in town tonight you want to go to...

I read an article years ago on this build and decided to put one together. It actually works surprisingly well and the belt slips to prevent tearing anything up if you get too crazy with feeding it frozen meat
Nobody has mentioned the drone drop camp. I see this as the next great advantage. Technology is already available to drop your gear wherever you want on the mountain. Oh - and haul the meat off the mountain as well.

My advise is talk to area biologist. I had one flat out tell me I would be frustrated without an ATV in one area. We took them and they were correct. Different unit years later biologist also told me you could bring one but really didn’t need one - correct again.
Makes sure you take your workout materials out before the hunt. I was 2k ft of elevation gain and several miles from the truck when we stopped for lunch on day three found a 2# ankle weight in the bottom of my pack.
Yeah - buddy of mine did it for a year then did the math on his per night expenses 😳. It’s a different conversation if you are mainly going full time vs just recreation.
