Are bear fences worth it?
Yes, for sure. We had one around our wall tent in elk camp for years. Cooked in it and never had a problem and grizzlies were all over the place.- longbow51

As mentioned, not all rices are equal...kids were deployed to Korea for a long time. Basmati and jasmine are game changers, as is a simple rice cooker for like $30.- longbow51
