1st try at jalapeño poppers. Bacon/green onion/cream cheese filling. Had extra filling so made a couple tomato popper sandwiches. Produce fresh picked from a local Wadmalaw farm. Mmmmm good! Wifey loved the tomatoes the best.
First brisket. Four hours at 240F with hickory cube, then tightly sealed inside turkey bag nestled in pan topped with tight foil for 4 hours at 225F. Then rested in oven at 150F for 2 hours. Very tip slightly dry, but great everywhere else.
