What are your 2026 Outdoor Plans

Myself and 5 other people went down to No Mercy in Gracemont, OK to hunt hogs a couple months ago. That was a first for all of us. Ended up taking home 16 pigs. Was an absolute blast! Outside of that i recently applied for cow elk and deer on the west side of our state. Commonly those are poor...

    First lite gear

I have a mix of FL, Kuiu and Sitka. All have their strengths. For me it depends on the price for what i'm buying. I have more FL jackets because i like their variety for the temperatures i hunt in. I'm also an instant gratification guy and i can go to Scheels and try on the FL and Sitka gear...

    Kuiu attack pants

Absolutely love these pants. I bought them primarily for pheasant hunting and they have taken quite the abuse in the messy thick stuff i've walked through. I've also worn them over my thicker base layers in 15-20 degree winter months deer hunting. Very comfortable, breathe well in the hotter...

    Are suppressors over rated?

I was always a muzzle brake fan until i bought a suppressor, now i can't picture hunting without one. The recoil management isn't as good, but the shooting experience is so much better. Again, just my opinion.

    Cow elk rifle

Man all of these posts make me feel so much better about taking my 6.5prc for an elk hunt. I feel like i was misled all the years into thinking you HAD to have a magnum caliber of some sort to take down an elk. So much money wasted on guns i thought were specifically for big game and just...

Tell me about the Tikka T3

I absolutely love my Tikka. I didn't know much about them when i purchased it but it's the one gun i know i won't get rid of. Bolt is smooth, feels well balanced, groups nicely, not too light, not too heavy.
