I hire for natural resource positions but not wardens. I would 100% take a person with real life experience versus a college degree in many areas of natural resources/park management. Unfortunately the system we have built requires a college degree when a college degree is not necessary.
Are they actually trying to fill the jobs or just saying they are vacant and have no intention to fill them?
Being in the conservation field low paying jobs, weekends, holidays are the norm for several years after graduating. Colleges need to do a better job of preparing students for that...

My 870 with a slug barrel has been in use flawlessly for nearly 30 years without a hint of maintenance other than oiling and cleaning after the season. This is going to make me break everything down and tighten the nuts and bolts.
