    Good snow fall for the last couple days, and the Red Lodge fire is out with what looks like little damage. 25" predicted for the Beartooths in this storm. Now social media is back to talking about the annual opening of the Beartooth highway.

    My bareroot's and conetainer plants came in today. Impressive root growth for the limber pine in the conetainers. 25 plants for $95. Can't start them myself for that price.

    Drought for the west

    Saw this one blowing up yesterday afternoon from my place. 3000 acres in a day. Lots of grassy benches, drought stressed pine and fir, with a lot of standing dead trees as well. Warm today, front coming through tomorrow, with snow and rain Thursday. Could get ugly before the snow comes.
