    Not to worry, as it's a common confusion. Whoda thunk two Beartooths? Beartooth WMA above the Missouri River is hard to hunt with hard to draw tags, so not as much chatter on HT or even elsewhere. It really takes horses to hunt Beartooth WMA.

    Few years ago, my wife in her mid sixties had hip surgery in late winter, quickly recovering and walking everyday. We backpacked 76 miles, seven days in the Bob Marshall Wilderness the following August. Best of luck to you ... as you make your own luck by rehab and exercise.

    Alzada is darn near 900 miles from anywhere! But the trip is worth it if you stop to enjoy some time at Medicine Rocks State Park, best place in Montana to watch night sky and the aura of ancient times is nice juju.
