86 bulls killed in 43 years. Two bulls per year average. Based on reading this forum for many years, it seems that even drawing two tags per year is a great achievement -
How many deer can you kill in your home state?
As mentioned above, Ohio is a one buck State. I thought these harvest stats for the 2023-2024 season were interesting. For what it’s worth, I whole heartedly agree with Randy regarding increasing the herds. In my original posts I didn’t emphasize that, but meant to address it in the limitation of one Elk/Mule deer tag per year and the idea of “Boots on the ground” programs that work toward that goal.- Mtrimble
