    Walking the Alaskan Tundra

Sucks but it is just mental.. done it twice on 2 hunts. Last year hiked out 5 mile range, set camp at 5pm, my wife glassed out 2 more miles and said there is a bull. She was already tagged out. I said to my buddy you coming or not? That's a good bull. He said that to far, we will never catch...

    Pennsylvania Red Tag Program

Easy solution... Don't gut them!!¡! Old PA tradition of gutting and dragging. So much easier just quarter them and carry quarters out.. same for PA elk..

    Why I love labs

I had to put my 12 yr old Black male lab down before and my 10 yr old Chocolate female lab down. Gets harder and harder. I didn't want another but my wife did. Now I couldn't imagine not having our Yellow male now.

How about an Eastern US hunting issue?

So funny to me how people get over deer. I improve as much on my 25 acres as I can for my wife and I to harvest deer on it. But my neighbors can literally shoot all the deer they want to legally...it's their property! And... They are not MY deer or their deer... lol High Fence your...

Anyone have experience clearing snow with a tracked skid steer?

I also have ran them for many years and on steep slopes. On packed snow especially they will slide or spin out. For your question it will not have traction your skid steer does with chains.

    Alaska Vacation / fishing trip

I would suggest Valdez in August. Lots of fishing opportunity for charters or just fishing from shoreline. Salmon Gulch Hatchery is real neat to visit with all the Pinks returning to Hatchery. May get to see a bear or lots of sea lions there. Beautiful scenery. Whale watching opportunities...
