The Ruger Ranch is a pretty nice little .223 bolt rifle. If you don't reload, any of the Barnes or Remington Barnes bullet factory loads are very accurate with the rifle.- Redmt

I've taken countless pigs and deer with a .223 . My hunting is mainly on our place or neighboring ranches. I also stepped up to 25-06 and the dreaded 6.5 CM . My 6.5 is my grab and go preferred caliber. If I was to have the opportunity to hunt elk, I would consider the 6.5 but would probably...- Redmt

Speaking of 22-250, I have a #1 with 14:1 twist. Getting anything to shoot straight over 53 gr. has been impossible. I'm also building another Predator with 10:1 twist. I need to shoot copper. Anyone got any suggestions?- Redmt

308 165gr bullets speed
.308 ttsx 168 gr. 42 gr. H4895 2700fps. 3/4" group. Good enough. Sharpie dot was point of aim for load development. The 180's were factory stuff with same point of aim.- Redmt
