    Looking back on the year Ive had some dark nonfictional reads. I think The Rape of Nanking, Under The Banner of Heaven, and others were too clinical to make this list. These were the ones that relayed human experiences more vividly.

    Parts felt a little hokey or inaccurate but for the most part it’s clear the author did his research about the hide hunters.

    If it happened to me I’d grab my speedy stitcher and stitch the hell out of it and hope it holds. Maybe reinforce/replace webbing with new climbing grade 1” webbing.
