Agreed, but... That include browtines? We dont count the brows as points in muleys or blacktails. Case in point, id call this a forkie.
This blacktail had some decent bases for his smaller antlers. Likely an older buck.
@Mallardsx2 Tough break haha. I cant wait to book a moose hunt.
My wife doesn't want me "decorating" the house with the dead animals I shoot. Fair enough, we have an agreement that inside the house is hers, the outside (garage/man cave) is mine. However, when we get a new place, she said...
I see them for $1500-2500 all day long out here in good shape. Gearing them down is easy. Basically just need it to crawl along the hard spots, and with your feet down its easy to balance. Id trade my xr400 for a tw200. Something to be said about 1980's tech thats dialed in, it doesn't let...
My buddies and I have been riding the last 3 seasons with a few different bikes. He has an xt250 yama, lower height for his shorter stature. I have an old xr400, sits higher but more clearance, more power.
So far I would say it is not going great. A lot of the trails that we want to access...
Let us know how they turn out! I need some real binos for my kid as well within the next year. Vortex is appealing because kids can smash them, and they will be warrantied.
Technically no age restrictions here for small game, birds - just need to pass hunters safety and buy a license. The firearm restrictions are so f'd, it all depends on what firearm and what combo of parts it has on it. Our minimum big game caliber is 6mm so that is definitely a possibility to...
I will try to get the info for the class action suit and pm you. That sucks how yours failed, it was what I was trying to prevent today. Every time I touched another set of pex it would create a new leak...
Thats a sweet setup for a homestead with the rv garage attached. Can't say Id opt for...
Thats awesome @Deckerp !!! My 7.5 yo boy is currently studying to take his hunters safety course next weekend. He is as excited as I am!
You must be in a better state than me. Im still infringed upon here in CA, not being able to buy suppressors or have a rifle with a detachable magazine and...
@Addicting Im helping fix my parents 2021 grand design right now. If you see plastic pex fittings like this pictured, run. Specifically the flexible, not hard, pex with the pex clamps. If the flexible pex goes onto a plastic fitting with the pex clamp, it will leak eventually. The flexible...
My trick is finding deals on #10 cans of freeze dried meals for dinner. Use my own mylar bags to package my meals. I add some idahoan potatoes to each dinner for extra calories, and mainly prevent watery food.
Breakfasts are simple oatmeal, sliced almonds, honey or maple syrup, raisins...
I know and I really wish I could get one. The issue with them is the payload capacity. Highest I found was 1,400 lbs with the 12,200 lbs towing capacity. Once you add up a little gear, people, and a trailer tongue weight, it's easy to go over that payload capacity. I would go over it constantly.
No pic, but I saw a big mainframe 4x4, plus eye-guards, plus a double drop tine on the left antler, not far from the house today. Now I have a mission to get a pic of this buck. He was hot on a doe.
Im biased towards Ram but the new ones are full of problems being a new generation. They need to iron out the issues. Just got rid of a newer chevy for an older 4th gen ram. Chevy towed better but was expensive to fix all of its little issues. I concur that chevy needs its def kept more than...
Now that you mentioned a class C and that your wife wants glamping, my parents also used to own a class A winnebago. They loved sitting up higher while they were driving, big window, better view. Could move around inside while driving for the bathroom or food. Quote from them: "with a 5th...
I will say the 6p is roomy, 3 is comfortable enough with gear and stove. Too bad tigoat no longer exists. An 8p would be best though for bad weather with gear, stove, and a dedicated 3 man crew.
Did you not like it?? Which seek did you get and want to sell now and why?
I have 2 tipis - a tigoat vertex 7.5 (6p) and seek BT2 (2p). I kinda want to sell both and get the argali 4p... I have 2 stoves to go with them so could easily make it happen.
@Addicting Fit and finish will be the #1 clue to how well a trailer is built. Unfortunately they will all fall short in this respect until you get to the highest level, non mass production companies. Our cougar is a "luxury" model, one of keystones highest grades, and its quality is on par...
There was a frame (lippert) recall on the larger grand designs to the point where grand design issued a recall and 5 year extended warranty. The slides have lots of issues, gears have eaten the rails more than once. Fridge issues. Panels and trim falling off. Leaks from plumbing designed...
