Good to hear! Nice animals. I know of Oliver and I’m sure he would have looked after you. Did you hunt in the Wairarapa region?

We hunted close to te Awaiti rd, close to the ocean on a couple of days, and a few miles inland from there. Saw lots of animals. Ollie was awesome. Great guy. I might try a diy hunt to save money next time for stag. Not sure how that would be, but I could shoot a few more animals.

There is hunting to the north of where you hunted. Its public (DOC) land and has deer in good numbers, but not great trophy potential but with some luck, and a week of hunting, you should get the same size of deer that you got with Ollie.. And you get to shoot as many as you want at any time of year.
