I have a 140$ burris on my 223. That gun definitely gets jarred the most as it stays in my truck all the time and ive done a lot of coyote hunting with it. No issues w it yet.
I didnt send it to them. I was hoping the first time was some sort of hiccup i caused. The 2nd and 3rd time i was in the middle of hunting season w no backup. I will have a backup here when they finish with it shortly.
But as i said, the vx2 hasnt been knocked off zero in over 20 years...
I used those razor uhd for an entire day shed hunting. (My meoptas were sent off for repair). My buddy also uses meopta meostars. 3 times that day he spotted a shed at longer distances,(800 yds or so) and despite explaining exactly where the shed was, i couldnt see it. And he couldnt see them...
Finally i have purchased a scope that wont be knocked of zero every time nothing happens. The vx3 is absolutely the worst scope i ever had. Now i will be shooting a nightforce atacr. The vx3 has been knocked off zero several times, but ive never been able to figure out anything significant...
I hope they win. The Wyoming game and fish are a bunch of moronic arrogant tards who think all hunters are dumb and breaking the law, and who go out of their way to misuse funds and mismanage wildlife.
For me the scariest walk is through willow bottoms in grizz country. In the day time. I always get nervous thinking im gonna come around a corner face to face w a grizz or a big momma moose.
I did have a scary night walk a few years back. A buddy was supposed to pick me up and ended up getting...
