Free safari w rifle?
Anyone purchased a rifle on a firearms sales website and done the “free safari” that goes with the rifle? Fine print says 3 animals customizable etc. Thanks for the info.- WVTXn

If I’m not mistaken there is at least one tag in NM that is a statistical impossibility to draw as a NR but is still sold to NRs. (Saw it on one of Randy’s videos)- WVTXn

To the OP…. I’ve only been in the point game for about 3ish years. I’ve never hunted western big game, but want to. Here’s my measly two cents. You can take a few different routes. Route 1. F—- the point game. Just go on guided hunts in maybe AK or NM every four years or so. Be done. Route 2...- WVTXn

That’s the boat I’m in. Got in the points game late in life. But honestly was totally ignorant of western big game hunting and its draw systems. “Drawing a tag” was totally foreign to me. OP, good luck jumping in this game.- WVTXn

2025 controlled hunts
Question for y’all. My kid turns 8 after Sept 15th but before some of the youth hunts. Can he/I apply for the 2025 youth hunts? I was looking at the TPWD pages, seems like I apply for him? Or do I have to create a new user under his name? Thanks -

Anybody know if the loyalty points expire? There’s a private lands hunt I’d like to apply for but can’t go this year even if I did draw. Didn’t find the answer in the FAQ. I realize if drawn your points zero out, but let’s say I have two points but don’t apply this year. Do I have two points... -

So, despite the criticisms on this thread, it seems that GoHunt is actually a better place for me to park than my current location. 1. Cheaper 2. Offers all I want anyways.
