    One of the theories on it I've heard is that elk are more adaptable to change but mule deer don't seem to be. If there are new obstacles on their migration route or something like that that changes their routine they don't deal with it as well as elk.

    Have had several pairs of pronghorn in the past but didn't last like they should have. Now have meindl's and a couple pair of kenetrek's for hunting and work. Kenetrek has a good end of year sale on ebay for returned or little used boots.

    I have a leupold 4.5 x14x40 on a 7mm-08. Also have a couple of 3.5x10 on other rifles. It seems like the 4.5 x 14 doesn't come to your eye as easily as what the 3.5x10 does if that makes sense. If I were to get another 4.5 x14 it would have to be a 50mm for that reason.

    Help me choose a 22-250

    New to ht. I have a 700 vls 22-250 that is a great shooter, you just wouldn't want to pack it around all day with the heavy barrel.
