Spreading like a slow forest fire. I also saw this map and last months as well. Hopefully, our hunting and the ranchers won't be affected too much. I just don't see anything positive about the whole reintroduction. Natural spreading seems more ethical.- Westelker - W. Colorado

I certainly don't see a problem discussing specific hunting units in this forum. General information provided to a fellow hunter is what I thought was the intent of this forum. From experience of one fully guided Colorado elk hunt with a string of mules, horses and fully stocked tents etc. , I can offer my opinion. CO 61 roads and atvs
Pagoat nailed it! The vehicle usage map for UNF shows exactly the roads that are open for normal size vehicles, atv over 50 inches wide and for atv under 50 inches wide. Also trail for bikes and horse only. Roads forest roads 402, 408, 409, 421, 500 and 505 all get your truck into good elk...- Westelker - W. Colorado
