George phoned me a number of years back knowing I had some 28 ga O/Us. He came over to take measurments of everything and went on to produce some in 28. One of the most unique firearms you'd ever lay your hands upon. -
Are tungsten turkey loads worth the money?
My short answer is no. Tungsten will not make a turkey deaderer than lead/copper plated lead. Spend the money if you wish but I feel it's just more fashion ammo.- Wally Dog

Moisture In Primers? Failure to Ignite
We have very low humidity generally so no need to concern myself with dessicant. I have primers that are 50 years old that work just fine.- Wally Dog

What are you currently reloading?
My custom 358 Norma 26" bbl prefers 73 gr IMR 4350 pushing a 250 Nosler partition at right about 2800fps. Pleasant to shoot and have zeroed at 250, 4" high at 150 and ~18" drop at 400. Has tipped a couple elk over at ~400, dead. Fine round indeed.- Wally Dog

I'd be shocked if there really was a rennaisance, but I'm thankful to have a pre 64 300 H&H and a custom .358 Norma mag in my arsenal! -
