    Birria bombs

Good suggestion on the roast- I'll give it a try. I also have a deer sirloin tip (football) that might work ok. I usually crock pot them with vegetables. I just ordered the birria bombs, so I'll try a roast and the deer sirloin tip with the birria bombs.

    Birria bombs

Looks really good. I've got to try making some. Looks like shanks and shoulders are working best for this?

    Things we take for granted

Running water, hot and cold. Don't realize how much I miss it until I'm out in hunting camp, in a tent, without it.

    Snake stories

We've got bull snakes where I live in central MN. It's really sandy and the place is full of pocket gophers. My old neighbor caught a decent sized bull snake last year, and I had him bring it to my house and I let it loose in the back yard (2.5 acres). Was hoping it would reduce the pocket...

Where to hunt Jackrabbits in Utah?

I've eaten cottontails before, and they were good. Never eaten a jack rabbit. How do you cook them? I bump into them while pheasant hunting sometimes, but never have shot any of them.

    Missouri Spoonbill opener

Congratulations- hope they eat well. I see them when I fish on the Missouri river, but never have tried to get a tag for one.

Tikka shooters- Mount the scope to the factory dovetail, or add a picatinny rail?

Same- Have used it for years on my Tikka .270 Win and it holds great.
