Need help with 300 Magnums.
What I think he means by "more dense" is that the 338 WM can launch a 225gr or 250 gr bullet which has great sectional density, with a MV around 2400- 2500+ fps, and it doesn't create a lot of blood shot meat or shoulders blown off the animal (which I've seen on antelope shot with a 300 Wby) and... -

Resizeing question
To begin with, back off your sizing die so there is an 1/8-1/4" (or more) off the shell holder; then, lube your case and FL size it. Check and see if the empty case chambers. IF IT DOES, bring the your sizing die down a little more, say about an 1/8", then repeat process. What I think is...- voyager

You don't mention what kind of hunting/shooting you'll be doing, let alone the cartridge. If you're hunting out to 300 yds, I'd suggest it doesn't make enough difference one way or the other.
