Selling a Stocky's Carbon Hunter in Viper Western for a HOWA 1500 LA. The barrel channel is for M24 Proof/Sendero, so this will fit tactical and carbon fiber barrels. It has only been to the range once. I went back to my heavier stock.
I got it on sale, so I will pass off a good deal...
It does not show the LOP on the website, but I have two spacers in and I run about a 13.25" LOP and it is even a little short for me. I am a little over 5"5".
Well, I did not get drawn for the hunt, so I don't need to chase speed and KE. I will be deer hunting this year with my 7mm-08 with the 140 Sierra TGK over H-4895. I may hunt with the 130 TTSX in my 308, but I have some load testing to do with Ramshot TAC.
I have a very slightly used, never shot on the range, MDT The Worker Chassis for sale. This fits the HOWA 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard SA rifles. I replaced a barrel on my rifle with a Criterion and it has the oversized barrel nut (ended up not being a good choice). So, my rifle does not fit...

I have also found that some of my rifles "feel" like less weight when they aren't, because they are balanced well. As someone said, I can just pick up a rifle and decide if it feels too heavy.
This may have been done before. What is the average weight, and/or your preferred weight, for a whitetail rifle hunting (scope included) in blinds and tree stands? Why?
