Exactly the right way to go!!!! Your aiming point is off the top of the sight, not covering the target with the front sight. Co 55 Muzz Deer
Congrats on the tag, we've hunted 55 a few times but never on the muzzy season. After 25+ years searching for muzzy sights I have settled on a Williams peep sight for the rear sight and an XS Sights white line partridge front sight.- Umpqua Hunter

Game Carts
At first blush, I am not sure how many places that are elky are conducive to a game cart. With that said, a number of local guys use trailers behind mountain bikes to haul elk out of gated roads. That is something I have seriously considered.- Umpqua Hunter
