    Big ol Burban?

Sorry, just saw this post I absolutely love hunting out of a suburban, mine is much older. With a family everyone and everything stays inside and dry. I like the balance a suburban has, pick-ups lighter in the rear end, goes really well in the snow and mud. Mine was built for off road use and...

    Quick Question

Back leg: I was taught that there are two joints close together you need to cut in the lower joint. I use my thumb to feel the joints and find the spot to cut with my knife.

As I have been looking through many posts of people packing out their deer, elk, or antelope I have noticed that many do not remove the lower part of front and back legs before packing the quarters out. So, just wondering why some leave the whole leg?

    Elk roast prep

Use the Crock Pot with Beef Broth enough to cover the roast, Garlic Powder, Dried Onion Flakes, one package of Brown Gravy mix, and cook on low the whole day. I start mine at around 6:30 in the morning and is ready by 5:00 in the evening. I like my roast falling apart. I save the juice in the...

    ***OFFICIAL*** 2023 SPRING BEAR THREAD

Baits are all out. Lots more snow than normal between 48" up to 72" at the baits sites. Made it super easy to set on snow machines, first time in 20 years that we set all baits with snow machines. Snow has been melting fast over the last few days. At one site there were bear tracks in the...

Really like how you used the shelf to place him in the corner. Great way to use the short wall.

    Better to be lucky

Not planning on it anytime soon. It has been good to us about 5 yrs ago I was lucky enough to kill a 170" mule deer that is 30" wide. This last hunting season my brother was able to take a 180" mule deer.
