Sitka pants
I have a pair of older pants and I can't find the model on them anywhere. The white tag says "SG-2014-C". I thought they were the mountain pants before they put knee pads in them, They are dbl lined and in optifade. Any ideas as to the model?- tim81212

Kentucky Elk Draw 2024
There are only 2 regulated areas worth a damn. Rest of the states sucks for a diy hunter with no access to private. The elk are harrassed by deer hunters, poachers, atv riders and target shooters on public land. I drew a cow tag in 21, what a sham. -
New ruger american Gen II
I handled one and it felt great. I love the 3 pos safety locking bolt. I vowed never to buy another rifle that didn't have one. Maybee a 6cr or 300 wm for me. -

Here is my f*up- Last sat was opening day mz in VA and I was hunting a wilderness area in the SW Mountains. How do you carry your bear defense sidearm
Right hip in a thumbreak holster. Bianchi accumumold is my favorite. Quick and natural for me since that is how i carried at work. Pack belt does not interfere at all. -

What're you doing on rigs who's manual says "no chains up front"?
In 18 I needed to chain up my 2017 Rebel just to make to camp in the flattops. I didn't find out until after that trip that I was not supposed to put them on that truck. I now carry cables, which supposedly are allowed, but I haven't tried them yet.- tim81212
