    Dry fire or not?

It’s a bear rant rebranded as a Cabelas Optimus. Nothing fancy, just a cheap get you started bow.

    Dry fire or not?

ok, here’s the situation. I was attempting to check the actual draw weight on my bow with a digital fishing scale. I know, just take it to a shop. Pulled back, got a reading, let down no issue. Wanted to get one more pull to double check my numbers. Got to full draw, moved my head to see the...

    Why do you share markups?

Yeah, with all the rattlers and one of the larger known lion populations in CA, I make sure my wife knows where I’m going and knows how to get there...just in case.

Welcome brother! Wow D10...yeah good thing you have private access, there’s is virtually no public land in that zone.

Does anyone have hunting gear for sale(California)

Where in CA are you and what gear are you looking for? Big game gear? Upland game gear?

    Mossberg

I’m going into my 4th hunting season with my Patriot and the only complaints I have are not getting enough time to shoot it. Great rifle for the price. Highly recommend getting the “Revere” version with the wood stock, or order and aftermarket stock.

Thoughts on BX-1 McKenzie 10x42 binos

Going on 4 years with mine, and have nothing bad to say about them. For that price, I might go buy another pair for my wife!

    Mystery Ranch Recommendations

I second this. The “main” bag is o the crammed side, but the side pockets have ample capacity. Great pack so far.

    gun or scope

You said it’s a Leupold scope right? Get ahold of Leupold and tell them you think your scope might be an issue, I’m sure their gold ring warranty will cover a check-up.

    Backpack question

I was just about to buy one a few months back and then started doing some real frame comparisons and ended up with the MR Mule instead. The pop up looks like the perfect daypack with the ability to haul out a small load of meat. Only downfall is the frame looks limited.

I am now officially on the MR train!!

seems like MR is getting a lot of love lately. I too just ordered a Cabinet in the Desolve Bare. Cant wait to get some hikes in before season opens.

    Kryvo clothing???

I picked up the pants and shirt back on Father’s Day. Stuff seems to be pretty well built. Can’t wait to get it out for some scouting trips and see how it performs.

    Hunting Rifle Magazine Capacity

As far as I know, in CA, it’s 10 rounds unless you are bird hunting. Shotguns are limited to 3 shells and have to have a tube plug in.

    Kryvo clothing???

Has anyone else heard of or seen Kryvo hunting clothes? Saw it at Bass Pro and they don’t have their own website, so thinking it’s a new BPS in house brand maybe? The stuff they had seem to be just as well built as anything else they had in stock and substantially less expensive. Thinking about...
