Well I got exactly what I wanted... I went ahead and applied for a party app with my 12 year old boy (first year big game hunting-always watching before). Decided to use my NR cow elk points and we drew 222-223 cow tags (don’t need help on this hunt).
I also drew one of the few NR Bear tags...
I drew an elk tag with 5 NR points. No clue where yet. I was one of those who had to (late) update their card info because a fraudulent charge appeared the day after the original draw date so I thought there would be absolutely no chance
@Gr8bawana...you can hunt there all you want. It doesn't bother me a bit...Neither of us said there was a lack of deer there. By all means, go meat hunt all you want but it should never be one of your 5 choices. That's why there are always 2nd draw tags available in 101-108
I wouldn't classify the rubies as a "very good area". That's a 5th choice area for someone who's desperate and just wants to draw. To me, that area isn't even an option and I would rather just gain a point.
I drew unit 221-223 with 4 points in 2015. I don't consider the points to be "expensive" like brownbear said. I put in for everything that I can and so should you.
After several years of not posting anything about bear results, Nevada posted this today. Guess who was one of the 6 unlucky ones.....MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Yes, the scope has scratches. It served it's purpose for years. I can't remember the model name as I have had it for more than 20 years. Let's just call it vintage. Saw the same model on ebay for 199.99.

What I think is hilarious is replying to pms via the thread where all you get is No...shoot higher...
I say Yes and shoot lower...maybe on the ground where you wouldn't be shooting it out of the sky(unmanned)...oh sorry, that's a target. I can get 20 for $5. So I guess it is a no then. That's...
