Thank you gang for the responses. I went with the Bivy Stick. Reasonably priced and reviews were comparable to the Garmin. I haven't had a problem with it so far, but it's still early.- SwordFish

Hey Randy, any chance there is a promo code for Garmin? As I find myself getting (clears throat) older, I have been considering the InReach gps system. However, being able to shave off a few dollars would certainly help the pocket book/ammo fund.- SwordFish

So you want to do some freshwater spearfishing eh? I don't have any experience with freshwater but a lot with salt. First is getting a mask that fits you. No leaking. Price won't matter if it leaks. A mask that fits will be key. Don't just order online. You will need to try it on. An uncomfortable mask will make you miserable. Opaque silicone will help you see better underwater.
