I love my 2012 Tundra Rock Warrior Package and I can tow almost anything without even knowing it is there. That said, for hunting I am thinking the Tacoma might be better. Tow capacity is 6800 lbs. If that is a concern get the Tundra.

They have a dolly that will basically walk down the stairs for heavy loads such as a safe. You still have to hold onto the handles and guide it down. Make sure you stairs are supported well

Redfield is made by Leupold. You need to look at the specs to decide which is better, VX2 is not the top of the line IMHO. Leupold flip up caps fit on Redfield too. Peace!
