I don’t fit either of those buckets. 60 rounds through mine so far, velocities are starting to get pretty consistent now. Well, the Weatherby arrived today, first shipment of 175gr Fusion tipped will be here tomorrow afternoon. The rifle was shipped without the rail and after a 3 minute call with Weatherby it too is in the mail and on its way. Once I get it topped with an optic I’ll post the groups. There is probably enough liability around producing legacy ammunition with higher pressures that manufacturers don’t want to touch it. I certainly wouldn’t- SMMiller55

I’ve seen a lot of conversations around the new cartridges that have been developed in the last 5-8 years and they all end up with the same talking points. “I have a 300 WM/30-06/7mm Rem Mag/you name it and this new cartridge won’t replace that”… and it shouldn’t.
