I’m getting 2930 fps with SB6.5 at 2.895 COAL. It fits in a standard mag but I use a Mountain Tactical one and changed to a long action bolt stop. I can get out to 3.3” COAL but it shoots too good where it’s at to mess with it.
Quotas are set based on herd numbers and herd health not how many people want a tag. Issuing more tags in an already hurting mule deer herd is not a good strategy.
