I can agree with that and tag numbers fluctuate so not like they can sustain a budget when those tags disappear. However Nonres tags are not cheap so while $8 tags wont amount to much $800 nonres general tags with whatever all these does tags costs does add up. In North Dakota - the powers... -

I am from North Dakota and have enjoyed coming out to MT to deer hunt over the years. Have hunted a few different spots in regions 4, 6, and 7. Actually have a general tag for this year as well, but 410 cow tag is the priority and I wont have a problem with not filling the deer tag this year... -

This is pretty funny. The sad part is I would rather hunt Mule Deer in MT than ND... NDGF and MFWP must consult each other on the best strategies to keep those success rates at 70-80%. Since that seems like the only measure they use to define a "quality hunt" -

Haha, true. I have experienced the unit with a deer tag in my pocket so I know what your saying. Since, in theory, there will be 900 less cow tag hunters north of Crooked Creek, my plan is to be up there, but that could always change depending on moisture conditions. -

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the biggest management issue in 410 is what you are stating above, however the majority of those landowners only want family, friends, or paying clients to hunt their property. -

Finally drew the 410-00 Elk B license (7 years), lol. Wondering if any that hunted last season would chime in on how the new north/south split went with the Elk B tags in 2021. Any noticeable hunting pressure difference between the north vs south side of Crooked Creek?
