Anyone from Florida?
A couple guys from our camp last year went to the Everglades canals and caught Oscars last year. They had buckets full of them for a fish fry. Crossbows are legal for anyone with an archery license in Pa. One of the reason that there is not as many rifle hunters or shots fired on opening day of rifle in my area is that a lot of them are already tagged out. Phoneskope vs Universal mount

I realize that some people have to return for work and are short on time to spend hunting. For those I’d also suggest an outfitter. No offense to guides/outfitters and in some past hunts some of my best advise has come from outfitters in the vicinity I was hunting. -

Remage Rifles???
If this is an older Rem 700 that has original barrel be prepared to use additional means (pipe wrench) to hold barrel in barrel vise. Most barrel vises are straight taper and sporter 700 barrels are very difficult to hold securely when removing the action. Prefit barrels work well on 700s. -
