Today was a ham dinner. Tomorrow more ham again but slso grilled coho salmon and their bellies, halibut, rockfish, and cod. All caught at my cabin this year in Alaska.

The short:
Just got back home after just 2 weeks at my Alaskan cabin in PWS. Had to cancel my flight for 6/3 on 6/1 cause I fell off my deck I was working on and broke 3 ribs and punctured a lung. I was planning on staying the summer and wintering over.
The Sad:

I didn't make it to my cabin in Alaska this year. My daughter said she wanted to go up for 3 weeks.
She picked a good year for coho.
The good news is she flying back to Pa for a week for a visit before flying home. Can't wait to eat the catch!
I retired in 2010. Didn't think about or plan it. Business partner( brother) make a low ball offer and i wanted out. My wife was still working as a teacher. She was shocked and pissed when she came home that evening. . She retired a few years ago and things were great.
